How to configure VPN Unlimited on Android TV Box
Android TV Box is a streaming device that provides an option to install whatever you want and adjust the system as you wish. So it would be a great idea to install a VPN to access your favorite but geo-restricted content via Kodi and other streaming software.
This guide will walk you through the VPN Unlimited setup on your Android TV Box.
First of all, you need to create the configuration files. In this regard, please follow the steps described in our tutorial. We recommend to generate the VPN configurations for the OpenVPN, IPsec IKEv2, and IPsec IKEv1 protocols.
Now, when you have successfully generated the configuration files, please follow a few simple steps to configure your Android TV Box.
Important! Make sure to remove other VPN apps from your device if you have any installed.
Note: We have generated the IPSec IKEv1 configurations for the German server as an example.
In your Android TV Box interface, go to Settings > More > VPN.
Press and input the following data:
- Name: VPN Unlimited (or any other name of your choice).
- Type: IPSec Xauth PSK.
- Server address: de-dus.vpnunlimitedapp.com
- IPSec Preshared key: K2ZSHTuEHskv1VrTeGT5.
- User Name: Enter the username from the generated configurations.
- Password: Enter the password from the generated configurations.
When you finish, press Save.
That's about it! You have successfully configured a VPN connection on your Android TV Box.
Now, navigate to the VPN settings again, select the newly created VPN connection, press Connect and enjoy!
